Anna Silk was the first child of Peter Silk (an academic) and Ilkay Silk (a writer, actor, director, producer and professor of St. Thomas University). Anna was born in Fredericton. She is the child of the couple Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Her mother is a "English-Turkish Cypriot expat" that is originally from Britain. Anna remembers attending the rehearsals of productions as a young girl as well as watching her mother working. While still a small girl, she appeared in commercials of various kinds. Anna relocated to Toronto and moved to Los Angeles in 1999. Seth Cooperman, whom she was introduced to at an Los Angeles actors' workshop back in 2007, became her partner in the year 2009. Anna was a convert to the Jewish faith in 2011 after converting to Judaism. The couple was wed in a civil ceremony in December that year and then renewed their vows in the Jewish ceremony held in Fredericton the month of April in 2011. Bo and Lauren's relationship (played Zoie Palmer by Bo) has been featured in CNN's top television couple list. The couple was also recognized by E! as the top television couple of 2013.
