Paula Patton (born in 1960) is an American actor. She also has produced films such as Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. As a child living in Los Angeles with a middle-class mother, the actress had plenty of goals. The idea of instilling a love for films within her daughter was a skill that she learned from her mother, who was also a fan of movies. Paula was a participant in co-curricular activities at school and loved drama. She was a great actress and enjoyed performing with her fellow students. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School produced many plays and the actress decided acting was the career she wanted to pursue. She enrolled at The University of Southern California in an intensive summer course and enjoyed her stint. She was awarded a three-month project producing documentaries on behalf of PBS. After she had completed the three-month assignment successfully, her first job was working in the production department of television documentaries. In the following years, she transitioned to producing documentaries. The work was enjoyable, but she still wanted to become an actor. in the film romantic comedy Hitch she played a small role alongside Will Smith. In the years since, she has been in a variety of film and TV shows.
