Zoe Saldana's parents Asalia and Aridio Saldana, were born on the 19th of June 1978 in Passaic New Jersey. Her father is Dominican and her mother is Puerto Rican. Her parents raised their daughter at home in Queens, New York. Her family and she moved to Dominican Republic at the age of 10, and there they would be for seven years. In the Dominican Republic, Zoe discovered a keen interest in performance dance and began her training at the world-class ECOS Espacio de Danza Dance Academy where she learned ballet and other dance forms. Her training was not only an ideal opportunity for this energetic and eager young person, but was also an excellent training for her future acting career. Zoe's family returned to the United States when Zoe was seventeen years old. She was a dancer with a passion and interest in performing on stage increased. Deutch is next reuniting with Katie Silberman to create their new romantic drama, Most Dangerous Game. Deutch as well as Silberman collaborated previously for Netflix's hit series Set It Up.
