Whitney Houston and Dana Bash
Whitney Elizabeth Houston is a singer from Newark New Jersey on 9th August, 1963. Her parents are gospel superstars Cissy Houston(n e Emily Lee Drinkard) and John Russell Houston Jr. Whitney's cousin Dionne warwick also sings. She began singing in a choir at her church The New Hope Baptist Church in Newark as a young child at the age of 15, she had begun singing backing vocals professionally with their mother in Chaka Khans 1978 hit Im Every Woman. In 1981, she briefly did a stint as a fashion model, and was featured on the Seventeen album cover. She also provided the backing vocals for Jermaine and Lou Rawls. The quality of her work as the vocalist featured in New York funk group Material attracted the attention of several big record companies, like Arista who she was signed in 1982, and was with them for the rest of her career. The year 1985 saw Whitney Houston's first album turned out to be one of the most successful debut albums ever. Singles such as The Greatest Love of All, How Can I Tell If You Give Love and the song Saving all My Love were all released from the album. The songs helped Houston to achieve the seven US top tens which were higher than even those of the Beatles. The album sold 3 million copies during its initial year in the US as well as make 25 million copies worldwide, earning it the very first one of six Grammies. The album Whitney was released in 1987 and featuring the popular songs What Do Broken Hearts go? and I Wanna Dance With Somebody, built upon her previous success. But it is The Bodyguard (1996) that cemented her position as one of music's best sellers. While the movie itself and the performance of her in it were not highly appreciated, the album's soundtrack and her cover of the Dolly Parton song I Will Always Love You made charts for albums and singles for months and sold 44 million copies around the globe. The daughter of her mother Bobbi is born the month of March of 1993, the year following her wedding to Bobby Brown. It was around this time and, in 1996, she'd become a regular user.
Dana Bash is also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz and she has a job at CNN as both anchorwoman, reporter and political correspondent. She hosted a variety of weekend programs on the network, which include Evans & Novak: Late Edition" as well as Inside Politics." She was previously employed by NBC as well as CBS.
