Whitney Houston and Dana Bash
Whitney Elizabeth Houston (born 9 August 1993 in Newark New Jersey) is the child of gospel superstar Cissy Houston. As a young girl, Houston started singing professionally at New Hope Baptist Church of Newark with her mom on Chaka K's Im Every Woman in 1978. Jermaine, her mother and Lou Rawls were among the musicians she performed with. Her cover in 1981 was published on the cover of Seventeen Magazine. The high quality of her performance as the featured vocalist of New York funk group Material caught the eye of major record companies including Arista and Arista, which she was signed in 1982, and remained for the remainder of career. In 1985, the debut of Whitney Houston became the best-selling debut album ever. Many of the songs on her album became hits, such as The Greatest Love of All and Saving All My Love. The album came out in 1987 and sold 25 million copies worldwide. Dana Bash is also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz and she is a journalist for the Washington Post as well as a reporter for CNN.
