O'Grady's leading roles in several television films are well-known. She was nominated three times to win the Primetime Emmy Award. She has been married six times. She secured a restraining order against Robert Claypool in 1995. Gail said that he had was stalking her, however she didn't get an order of restraining. Gail has responded to the claims by filing a suit to sue him over defamation defamation, libel and slander.
