Drake and Bad Bunny collaborated on MIA (2018) as did Madonna and Maluma. Madonna teamed up with Maluma on Medellin, 2019 The gradual mainstreaming of reggaeton became a concern for some performers by 2020. Rauw alejandro and a young generation, however, were keen to keep the look. The genre often included elements of electronic dance music, as well as different genres.
