Fawn Mckay
Fawn McCay Brodie, was born at Ogden Utah September 15, 1915. Reared in the Mormon Church's very first family, Fawn McKay devoted her brilliant creative writing skills and impressive research skills to creating the brilliant psycho-historical biography of Joseph Smith, published in 1945. The book was titled"No Man knows My History. This title was inspired by the funeral sermon of Joseph Smith, founder of The Church of Latter-Day Saints. He shocked his audience by saying: "You don't even know my name. It's been a long time since you've seen my feelings." My story is not known to anyone. Nobody knows my story. Fawn (29 an age) said that, since her moment of candor the three hundred and thirty writers have stood up to the occasion. Certain writers have deified and even abused the man, and others have tried to pinpoint the issue. The problem isn't the case that there's not enough documentation but rather they are wildly contradictory. It is a daunting task to put together the documents, of separating firsthand accounts from third-hand plagiarism of fitting Mormon and non-Mormon narratives to create a picture that is plausible the history. It is both interesting and instructive. Fawn brodie was professionally committed to this task. Her research as well as her writing earned her world-wide fame: Thaddeus Stevens. "The Devil's Road" (1959) The Slaughter of the South. Thomas Jefferson. A personal history of Richard Nixon (1974) as also posthumously Richard Nixon.
